OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 Launch in India Today: OnePlus is gearing up to launch the lighter version of its flagship OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, today (December 17) along with the OnePlus Pad Go 2.
The Chinese smartphone maker has been teasing key specs and has already confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 15R will pack the largest battery ever on a OnePlus phone. For those who wish to watch the product launch of the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 live, the company has said that the ‘Rise as One’ launch will be live streamed on the official OnePlus YouTube channel from 7pm IST onwards.

OnePlus 15R specifications
In the build up to its launch, OnePlus has revealed several key details about the 15R that is one tier below its flagship OnePlus 15 launched in November this year
The OnePlus 15R will be the first device available globally to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform. It also features a 165 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display and a Touch Response Chip that reportedly allows the OnePlus 15R to sense touch quicker than other devices, as well as a G2 Wi-Fi chip for stronger internet connectivity.
It will pack a massive 7,400mAh battery, the largest ever on a OnePlus smartphone. The latest model will also be the first R series device to feature a 32 megapixel selfie camera along with autofocus and 4K video recording at 30 fps (frames per second). The 15R will further share features such as DetailMax Engine with its higher-end sibling.
